Meeting Life's Challenges

I've been retired since June of 2010.  I left a profession I loved after 28 years due to political posturing that had nothing to do with the job at hand, educating our kids.  I left because I swore that I would never let my one piece of idealism, that education was in existence to do what is best for kids...after many years of dealing with politics that had nothing to do with the job, I decided that I needed to leave and pursue other endeavors.
I left with no solid plans for the future-just lots of ideas.  As life has a way of doing, I discovered life coaching.  I went back to school and got my certification and began my own business, trustyourownvoice.com. I have been able to work with lots of different people in a cocreative relationship that has allowed them to envision and begin working toward their own life's goals.  This has been truly an ideal fit for me because I have spent my life helping others to realize their own potential and work toward fulfulling their life's goals.
The Lord has a way of directing us toward our destinies, we just need to listen.  There are people all around that are here to support us as we continue to learn and grow.  After reading some really interesting and thought provoking posts, I continue to marvel at how resilient the human spirit is!  People really do have the answers to their own challenges, sometimes, they just need someone to ask the right questions
